EN LA PLAYA

Tänään alkoi neljän päivän kevätloma, ja ensimmäinen lomapäivä sujui aitoon uruguaylaiseen tapaan rannalla, matea juoden ja keksejä ja leivoksia syöden. Aamupäivällä kävelimme kotia lähinnä olevalle rannalle ja illalla tehtiin vielä reissue La Pedreraan, joka on noin 10km La Palomasta pohjoiseen, toinen pieni rantakaupunki.

Today was the first day of our four days of spring holiday, and it went by fast, in true Uruguayan way, drinking mate and eating biscuits. At the morning we walked to the beach nearby home and then the night we spent in La Pedrera, which is about 10km north from here from La Paloma, another small coast town.

"When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hst ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
